New Hampshire Small Business Community Endorses Russell Prescott for Election to Congress

CONCORD, N.H. (Sept. 26, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Russell Prescott for election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District.

“Russell Prescott’s decades of experience owning and operating his own business will be valuable in Washington, D.C.,” said Bruce Berke, NFIB New Hampshire State Director. “As a New Hampshire State Senator, Russell proved his support for small business and we’re confident he will be an asset in Congress as a supporter of making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. NFIB members and business owners in New Hampshire’s 1st District will be well-represented by Russell Prescott.”

“As a small business owner myself, I know the importance of having representation in Washington that reflects the needs of job creators right here in New Hampshire,” said Russell Prescott. “I have always been an advocate for pro-growth policies that benefit those who understand what it means to sign the front and back end of a paycheck, and I will continue to do so in Congress. I greatly appreciate the support of the NFIB and of many of its members from across the district. I look forward to being their voice next year.”

“We are pleased to endorse Russell Prescott today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “As a long-time business owner and NFIB member, we are confident he will bring a small business mindset to Congress and work to reduce taxes, lower the nation’s deficit, and create a pro-growth environment.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
