Nebraska Small Business Thanks Governor for Focusing on Small Business

NFIB State Director Bob Hallstrom released the following statement in response Gov. Pete Ricketts’ State of the State Address.

“Small business owners across the state are encouraged by the governor’s agenda for the 2022 legislative session,” said Bob Hallstrom, NFIB State Director in Nebraska. “Gov. Ricketts is committed to cutting taxes and holding the line on state spending. With the sizable cash reserves on hard, returning money to the pockets of small business to continue to spur the economy is essential.

“NFIB members are ready for the governor and legislature to act this year. While Nebraska has largely been protected from the burdensome mandates that other states have suffered since COVID-19 hit, Nebraska business owners are still concerned about COVID and the recent spike due to the omicron variant.”

Sky-rocketing costs of goods and servicessupply chain disruptions and record Inflation are proving to be consequences that aren’t going away anytime soon.
