Montana Small Businesses Endorse Troy Downing for Election to Congress

HELENA, Mont. (Aug. 15, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Troy Downing for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Montana’s 2nd Congressional District.

“Troy Downing understands how small businesses are directly impacted by the policies Congress enacts,” said Ronda Wiggers, NFIB Montana State Director. “Drawing from his wide breadth of business experience coupled with his public service roles throughout Montana, we are confident that Troy will work to strengthen the small business economy. We look forward to working with Troy Downing in Congress and we are pleased to endorse him today.”

“Troy Downing will be a strong small business advocate in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Through his extensive business experience, Troy understands the issues most important to job creators. We know Troy will be a pro-small business vote in Congress, and we are pleased to endorse him today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
