Missouri Small Businesses Participate in St. Louis Roundtable

In October, NFIB small business owner members participated in a roundtable discussion in St. Louis, led by Ways and Means Chairman Rep. Jason Smith, Rep. Ann Wagner, and Rep. Darin LaHood.

During the roundtable, small business owners were able to discuss how the 20% Small Business Deduction has helped them invest in their employees and operations.

“Small businesses are the foundation of our local economy,” NFIB State Director Brad Jones said. “And yet, the vast majority of them will face a massive tax hike that would hurt their ability to create jobs and invest in our communities. Protecting small businesses is good for Missouri, and good for America. We thank these lawmakers for taking the time to listen to our members, and for their efforts on behalf of small business.”
