Running for office? Knowledge of the issues is the surest way to win the support of Main Street

Primary Election Day in Nevada is June 11. Early voting runs from May 25 to June 7. Visit the Secretary of State’s website for more important election information.

It has been a big part of NFIB’s educational mission for 80 years to remind policymakers that small businesses are not smaller versions of big business. They have a much more difficult time than big businesses do in keeping their doors open. The following links provide brief information that NFIB Nevada, the state’s largest and leading small business association, recommends every candidate acquaint himself or herself with.

Are you a NFIB member interested in running for office or getting more politically involved? Check out the NFIB Path to Public Service series. This three-session, virtual program is designed to help NFIB members amplify their voices and share their small business expertise in government and political campaigns.

Best of luck with your campaign. We hope you will be the voice of small business.
