Indiana Small Businesses Endorse Erin Houchin
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 12, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Erin Houchin for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Indiana’s 9th Congressional District.
“Erin Houchin is a proven small business supporter, earning a strong NFIB voting record during her time as Senator in the Indiana Legislature,” said Natalie Robinson, NFIB Indiana State Director. “As an NFIB member and business owner herself, she understands how onerous government regulations and high taxes negatively affect the small business economy and has committed to working on these issues in Congress. We are confident that Erin Houchin will be a pro-small business Member of Congress and look forward to continuing to work with her.”
“As a small business owner and member of the National Federation of Independent Business, I am so grateful to have earned the NFIB endorsement,” said Houchin. “Too often, small businesses are under attack. Increasing taxes, soaring inflation, and burdensome regulations are harming companies and employees across the country. I look forward to fighting for them in Congress and allowing the American dream to thrive once again.”
“We are proud to endorse Erin Houchin for election to the U.S. House today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She was a reliable small business supporter serving in the state legislature and we are confident that she will continue to be a strong voice for small businesses in Washington.”
The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
