SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (Feb. 13, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Rep. Mike Bost for re-election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Illinois’ 12th Congressional District.

“Rep. Bost has consistently advocated on behalf of small businesses in Congress,” said Noah Finley, NFIB Illinois State Director. “During his time in Congress, Rep. Bost has fought for overdue tax relief for small business owners and has earned a 100% voting record with NFIB.”

“I have a long history with the NFIB, dating back to when my father served on the NFIB state board while running our family’s trucking company,” said Rep. Mike Bost. “I’ve owned a small business, and I understand what it is like to sign both sides of a paycheck. I know our job creators in Southern Illinois are struggling in Joe Biden’s economy. I am thankful to receive the endorsement of NFIB because they recognize I am fighting to cut through big government bureaucracy so our small businesses can flourish.”

“We are proud to endorse Rep. Bost for re-election today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Rep. Bost has been a dependable supporter of pro-small business policies, and we look forward to continuing to work with him to strengthen the small business economy.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
