95 Missouri Legislative Candidates Earn Crucial Small Business Endorsement
JEFFERSON CITY (Oct. 14, 2024) –The NFIB Missouri PAC today endorsed 95 candidates for seats in the Missouri General Assembly. The political action committee, comprised solely of NFIB members from throughout the state, endorsed eight candidates running for seats in the Senate and 87 candidates running for seats in the House of Representatives.
“Locally-owned businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities,” NFIB State Director Brad Jones said. “Small business owners feel more uncertain than ever with few qualified applicants and rising prices. It’s never been more important to send strong champions of Main Street to Jeff City. These candidates understand the challenges our job creators face, and support policies that will make it easier to do business in our state.
“On behalf of our small business owner members across the state, I’m proud to announce these endorsements and ask all Missourians to support pro-small business candidates.”
The NFIB Missouri PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls.
NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
