86 Members of the MS House Achieve 100% NFIB?Small Business Voting?Records?

NFIB State Director Dawn McVea says 86 members of the Mississippi House achieved 100% NFIB small business voting records in the 2023 legislative session. “These leaders are a big reason why Mississippi remains a small business-friendly state,” McVea said. “They understand the challenges our members face and showed us they’ll do what it takes to level the playing field and allow for Main Street businesses to succeed.” McVea said the 2023 NFIB?Voting?Record?doesn’t reflect every element lawmakers consider when?voting, nor does it represent a complete profile of the legislators. The voting record includes eight key?votes on issues important to small businesses including tax relief, workforce development, and workers’ compensation. The voting record doesn’t factor in that some of these legislators also supported small businesses in committees. Click here to see the results for all legislators and an explanation of the issues.
