NFIB successfully opposed a paid family insurance program that would have required more than $103 million in increased payroll taxes in 2021, ’22, and ‘23, paid by both employers and employees.

Fuel Tax to Fund Transportation Climate Initiative (TCI)

NFIB opposed the TCI, which included a 38-cent per gallon tax on fuels, to be paid for by individual Vermonters and small business owners.
