NFIB’s Small Business PAC Finalizes Legislative Endorsements

Date: August 30, 2022

Four state representatives added to new list of 13 to win small businesses’ backing

OLYMPIA, Wash., Aug. 30, 2022—The political action committee for Washington state’s leading small-business association today announced 13 more endorsements for the Legislature, bringing to 66 the total number of candidates for the State House and State Senate that it has given its backing to.

“We wanted to put the finishing touches on our legislative list before Labor Day, so that all 66 of our endorsed candidates can campaign as legitimate supporters of small business, which they either earned, if incumbents, by their legislative voting records, or by their responses to our questionnaires if they are challengers to incumbents or running in open seats,” said Patrick Connor, Washington state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), speaking for the NFIB WA PAC, which made the endorsements.

“Small business needs to know who stands with them when it counts most as the legislative process gets going,” said Connor. “Our small business PAC strives to find reliable allies. For Main Street, mom-and-pop enterprises, it’s often a matter of survival who comprises our two legislative bodies.”

The complete list of the 66 endorsed candidates can be read here. Below are the 13 candidates who were added to that list. The backing of small business is no small thing. Check out The Power of the Small Business Voice.
