Claudia Smith shares the power of her voice as an NFIB member and small business owner.

In a recent episode of the Small Business Rundown, NFIB member Claudia Smith shared how she has used her voice and tell her story and advocate on behalf of her fellow small business owners.

As the owner of Aggieland Carpet One in College Station, Texas, Claudia has had the opportunity to meet with both of her U.S. Senators and her Governor. In the episode, Smith highlighted the importance of telling your story so that lawmakers can better understand the challenges Main Street faces.

“Your voice counts,” Claudia said. “I know as business owners we’re wearing multiple hats. We have different problems today more than ever. Just last night, I couldn’t sleep thinking about all the problems and challenges we’re facing today. But you can do something about it. You can go and advocate for small businesses. Fight for our cause. Let your story be heard. Because we can make a difference.”
