NFIB/NJ Visits Main Street

Date: November 04, 2014

NFIB/NJ State Director Laurie Ehlbeck, visited member businesses across Northern New Jersey to learn more about what “scares them” about laws and regulations in the state. The Halloween themed tour was aimed at allowing Laurie, who is the voice of small business in Trenton, to better understand NFIB members’ challenges.

Many business owners shared the same frustrations; dealing with government regulations and unnecessary fines, surviving and bouncing back from the recession, and mandatory paid leave. Meetings like these are not only fun, but also help us to better represent small business in New Jersey. If you’re interested in scheduling a future meeting with State Director, Laurie Ehlbeck, email Miranda Bond by clicking here.
