35 Illinois Legislators Achieve a 100% Voting Record from NFIB

NFIB Illinois announced today that 35 state legislators — 5 members of the Senate and 30 members of the House — achieved a 100% NFIB Voting Record in the 2023-24 session.

“Small businesses need support now more than ever. I’m grateful to these pro-small business legislators for stepping up and giving Main Street a helping hand,” said NFIB Illinois State Director Noah Finley. “The cost of doing business is skyrocketing and small business owners are being overwhelmed with bureaucratic red tape. If lawmakers want Illinois to succeed, they must work together to ensure that Illinois business owners can successfully own, operate, and grow their businesses.”

The 2023-24 NFIB Voting Record is based of eight key votes in both chambers of the Illinois General Assembly on issues impacting small business. It does not include every vote cast by legislators. NFIB positions are driven by member ballots. Each year, NFIB surveys its members about issues that could impact their small businesses. These member ballots authorize NFIB to take positions on legislation introduced and debated in Springfield.
