Small Businesses Endorse Yesli Vega

RICHMOND, Va. (Aug. 29, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Yesli Vega for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.

“Yesli Vega will be a dependable voice for small businesses in Congress,” said Julia Hammond, NFIB Virginia State Director. “She is a daughter of a small business owner and has personally seen how burdensome government regulations and red tape can affect the growth and operation of a small business. Yesli Vega has pledged to focus on top small business issues as a Member of Congress, including rampant inflation, the threat of tax increases, and onerous mandates. She will be a small business champion and we look forward to working with her in Washington.”

“We are confident that Yesli Vega will be a strong advocate for Virginia’s small businesses,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She recognizes the issues our members are facing and will be a supporter of pro-small business policies in Congress. We are proud to endorse her today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
