Small Business Endorses Kevin Stitt for Governor

October 18, 2018

The NFIB Oklahoma PAC has endorsed Kevin Stitt for governor. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members in Oklahoma. Its endorsement is based on Stitt’s position on small-business issues, NFIB State Director Jerrod Shouse said.

“Kevin Stitt is the clear choice for Oklahoma’s small business community,” Shouse said.

“Kevin Stitt understands the challenges of starting and running your own business,” Shouse said. “He has promised to run Oklahoma like a business by applying performance metrics and auditing every state agency to ensure that every office and department is running as efficiently and effectively as possible.

“Kevin Stitt opposes higher taxes and burdensome rules and regulations that would make it harder for small businesses to grow and create jobs,” Shouse said. “On behalf of our dues-paying members throughout the state, it’s my honor to announce the NFIB Oklahoma PAC’s endorsement of Kevin Stitt for governor.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Stitt’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Oklahoma members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Election Day.
