North Carolina’s Small Business Community Endorses Mark Harris for Election to Congress

RALEIGH, N.C. (July 25, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Mark Harris for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District.

“Mark Harris understands the importance of pro-small business policies and the need to promote a tax and regulatory environment that will help our members thrive in today’s economy,” said Gregg Thompson, NFIB North Carolina State Director. “We are confident Mark Harris will be an ally of North Carolina’s small businesses in Congress and will work to protect their right to own, operate, and grow their businesses.”

“On behalf of North Carolina’s small businesses, we are proud to endorse Mark Harris today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Mark recognizes the issues facing Main Street and will advocate on behalf of the small business economy in Congress. We look forward to working with him.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
