TX Expands COVID-19 Rapid Testing Program for Small Business Workers

Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) said today they’re expending the COVID-19 Rapid Testing Program for front line workers at Texas small businesses.

Under the expansion, 1 million BinaxNow Rapid Tests will be allocated to the program. The program began as a pilot program in December. TDEM is sending local Chambers of Commerce testing supplies they can distribute to small businesses that choose to participate. Employers can then administer the tests to workers who opt in.
