REMINDER: Make Your Voice Heard & Support Pro-Small Business Candidates in Arkansas

Date: February 21, 2024

Early voting has opened in Arkansas ahead of Election Day on March 5.

Last year, the Arkansas Legislature cut taxes, reduced regulations, and bolstered the workforce. But inflation continues to take a toll on small business owners and their hardworking employees. Main Street needs strong advocates in Little Rock.

We need you to be the #VoiceOfSmallBusiness and support these candidates on – or before – Election Day, which is Tuesday, March 5.  Early voting began on February 19 at your county clerk’s office. To find your polling place, visit https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org/VoterView.

Elections are a business decision, which is why NFIB’s Arkansas PAC has endorsed the following incumbent candidates for seats in the Arkansas Senate and House of Representatives.

Endorsed candidates:

Senate

District 19 Sen. Dave Wallace

House

District 30 Rep. Fran Cavenaugh

“Our small businesses define Arkansas’ communities,” NFIB State Director Katie Burns said. “These past few years, they have faced enormous difficulties, from skyrocketing inflation to economic uncertainty. These candidates are committed to promoting greater economic opportunity for our local job creators and the Arkansans they employ.”

Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Arkansas members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Election Day. Make your plan to vote today!
