Tax Deadline for Small Businesses Impact by January Storms is Oct. 16

The federal disaster declaration gave residents and business owners additional time to file

Tax Deadline for Small Businesses Impact by January Storms is Oct. 16

The IRS says individuals and small business owners impacted by the severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes that began on Jan. 12 have until Oct. 16 to file various individual and business tax returns and make tax payments. Following the disaster declaration issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the extension applies to people who live or own a business in Autauga, Barbour, Chambers, Conecuh, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Mobile, Morgan, Sumter and Tallapoosa counties.
