Governor Mike Dunleavy (R) has taken executive actions that do the following:
Releases detailed guidance for businesses to follow during Phase Three of the reopening plan. Business responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining opportunities for social distancing; encouraging face coverings; screening people; regularly disinfecting surfaces; and more.
Allows all businesses to open at 100 percent capacity. All businesses may open. All houses of worship and religious gatherings may open. All libraries and museums may open. All recreational activities may open. All sport activities may open. (Phase Three)
Announces that starting July 1, the State of Alaska will start sending out Permanent Fund Dividend checks to all Alaskans that are eligible. Individuals & businesses have been hurt by COVID19.
Orders all people arriving in Alaska, whether resident, worker or visitor, are required to self-quarantine for 14 days and monitor for illness. Updated guidance states that travelers will be asked to minimize in-person interactions for an additional 7-14 days after arrival and will be offered a follow-up test. Travelers must complete and sign the Alaska Travel Declaration form and present a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival.
