WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 7, 2026) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today announced the promotion of Elizabeth Parks to Vice President of Federal Government Relations and Grassroots.
Elizabeth most recently held the position of Vice President of Grassroots at NFIB, where she led NFIB’s nationwide grassroots network of small business advocates on issues including taxes, healthcare, and regulations. She was also selected to lead NFIB’s multi-year campaign to make the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent.
Prior to joining NFIB in 2018, Elizabeth served as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Trent Kelly (MS-01) and as Communications Director to U.S. Representative Alan Nunnelee (MS-01).
“Throughout her career, Elizabeth has been a passionate advocate for America’s small business owners. In this expanded role, she will further NFIB’s support for Main Street by leveraging our members from all 50 states and communicating key small business issues directly to Congress,” said Adam Temple, NFIB Senior Vice President for Advocacy.
“I’m honored to take on this new role to further advance the advocacy efforts of America’s small business owners,” said Parks. “I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place to advance the policies that allow small business owners to continue to own, operate, and grow their businesses.”
