NFIB Endorses Sen. Capito for Re-Election to the U.S. Senate

CHARLESTON, W. Va., (March 9, 2026) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Senator Shelley Moore Capito for re-election to the United States Senate to represent West Virginia.

“Senator Capito has been a consistent small business supporter and understands the issues that matter most to West Virginia’s Main Street,” said Gil White, NFIB West Virginia State Director. “She earned a 100% NFIB Voting Record during this term in the U.S. Senate and has championed critical pro-small business legislation, including making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent, something that directly benefits our local small business communities. We are proud to endorse her today for re-election and look forward to continuing to work with her on behalf of West Virginia’s small businesses.”

“We are proud to endorse Senator Capito for re-election today,” said Louis Bertolotti, NFIB Acting Political Director. “She is a reliable supporter of pro-small business policies and holds a 100% NFIB Voting Record. Her leadership has been critical in reducing permitting burdens on small business owners, and she continues to fight the invasive Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) mandate. We look forward to continuing to work together.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
