NFIB urges Wisconsin Governor Evers to work with Republicans to solve problems

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Wisconsin’s leading small business advocacy organization, released the following statement following Governor Tony Evers’ final State of the State address:

“It was disappointing that Governor Evers spent most of his effort criticizing the other side of the aisle,” said NFIB State Director Luke Bacher.  “This is not about political parties; this is about keeping Main Street’s ‘Open’ sign on. The governor must work with the legislature to address the very real issues facing families and small businesses across the state.  A great start would be accepting the deal offered by the legislature that returns the surplus through tax relief.”
