SANTA FE, NM (June 17, 2026) – The National Federation of Independent Business, the state’s leading small business advocacy organization, announced today that 38 New Mexico lawmakers earned 100 percent NFIB voting records during New Mexico’s 57^th Legislature. In a statement, NFIB State Director Jason Espinoza commended the lawmakers for standing up for small business owners.

“Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of bad ideas in the Roundhouse, from costly employer mandates to higher taxes and fees. As a result, many small business owners here in New Mexico are struggling against higher costs and a regulatory environment that is difficult to navigate. On behalf of our members across the state, I want to thank these 38 lawmakers who earned 100% by standing up for Main Street businesses. NFIB will continue working with lawmakers to promote greater opportunity here in New Mexico.”
