NFIB Takes Opposition to Millionaire Tax to the Airwaves

KIRO 7 News interview helping set the record straight

NFIB member Lois Cook and NFIB Washington State Director Patrick Connor took to the airwaves to make small businesses’ case against the Millionaire Tax, Senate Bill 6346.

“Our primary concern is that a small business owner could be taxed on their business earnings not their personal income, making it difficult to keep those small businesses in Washington state,” said Connor to reporter Alison Ahmoye of KIRO News 7 TV.

Small business owner Lois Cook says it might make sense to move her company to Oregon, which has taxes “a third less than taxes in Washington state.”
