NFIB members recently met with state Rep. Jeff Zenger at a small business roundtable in Winston-Salem. The event gave local small business owners the chance to share their experiences and discuss the issues that matter most to them.

Held over a casual luncheon at Foothills Brew Pub, the roundtable allowed for open conversation about running a small business and how decisions made in Raleigh affect local communities. Members also heard updates on the upcoming legislative session from NFIB State Director Gregg Thompson.

“One of the benefits of NFIB membership is the opportunity to engage directly with elected leaders,” Thompson saaid. “By sharing their stories, small business owners help lawmakers better understand how proposed laws and regulations can affect Main Street.”
