NFIB Illinois State Director Confirmed to Employment Security Advisory Board

The board advises the Illinois Department of Employment Security on issues pertaining to the administration of Illinois’ unemployment insurance program

The Illinois Senate voted to confirm NFIB Illinois State Director Noah Finley to the state’s Employment Security Advisory Board (ESAB) during its fall veto session.
Finley was appointed by the governor to represent employers on the advisory board. The appointment is for a two-year term.

The board was created to advise the Illinois Department of Employment Security on the administration of Illinois’ Unemployment Insurance Act.

It is composed of twelve members appointed by the governor: four representing employers, four representing employees, and four representing the general public.
