After January 2026, Missouri's minimum wage will no longer be annually adjusted by the Consumer Price Index
Effective January 1, 2026, Missouri’s minimum wage will increase to $15.00 an hour, under HB 567, which was signed into law by Governor Mike Kehoe in July 2025.
Under HB 567, the minimum wage will no longer be annually adjusted by the Consumer Price Index. Additionally, public employers who had previously been exempted are now subject to the state’s minimum wage law.
