Vermont Releases Resources Guide for Drought Impacted Areas

State provides consolidated list of drought resources

The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) has released a comprehensive guide of state resources for homeowners and businesses impacted by the ongoing drought.

Even with recent rainfall and the end of the statewide burn ban, nearly half the state is still considered to be in extreme drought conditions.

Report Drinking Water Problems. You can report low water levels in a private well or spring here: Drought Reporter Site

Report a problem with public drinking water systems here: VTANR ANR/LURB Online Services.

2025 Agricultural Drought Impact Survey: The state is seeking feedback on drought impacts from farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses. You can view and complete the survey here: 2025 Drought Impact Survey.

Agricultural businesses can find additional help, including short-term loans, from the Vermont Farm Fund: Vermont Farm Fund.
