Gardenhire chairs the Senate Judiciary and Fiscal Review committees and is a member of the State & Local Government Committee

The Tennessee office of NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, recently presented its coveted Guardian of Small Business award to state Sen. Todd Gardenhire (District 10, which includes Bledsoe, Hamilton, Marion and Sequatchie counties).
“Todd Gardenhire continues to be an outstanding supporter of small business in the Tennessee State Senate,” NFIB State Director Jim Brown said. “Senator Gardenhire has voted for meaningful tax, labor, tort and regulatory reforms that continue to help small businesses in his district and across the state. His 100 percent NFIB Voting Record the last three years demonstrates his continuing support for small businesses, helping them hire and invest more in their communities.”
The presentation was made last week at Ruby Falls, an NFIB member. Hugh Morrow, Jr., president and CEO of Ruby Falls, presented the award to Gardenhire. The Guardian of Small Business award is the most prestigious honor that NFIB bestows on legislators in recognition of their efforts to support small business. The NFIB Tennessee Leadership Council, an advisory board comprised of NFIB members, voted to present the award to Gardenhire for his outstanding leadership on small business issues.
Gardenhire said, “It’s a great honor to be recognized with the NFIB Guardian of Small Business award. The NFIB organization presents the agenda their members vote on regularly, which I appreciate knowing. I have been and will continue to be passionate about backing the job creators and their employees in my district.”
Gardenhire chairs the Senate Judiciary and Fiscal Review committees and is a member of the State & Local Government Committee.
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
