Virginia Launches ‘Energy Connect’ Program for Small Businesses

Virginia Launches ‘Energy Connect’ Program for Small Businesses

October 2, 2025

The program is designed to help employers and others dealing with high energy costs

The Virginia Department of Energy has launched Virginia Energy Connect (VEConnect), a new online platform that makes it easier to find energy incentives across the state. The site combines federal, state, and local programs into one hub so people can quickly see what options are available and how to apply.

VEConnect is designed for homeowners, renters, landlords, small businesses, and contractors, with special attention to families and businesses struggling with high energy costs.

Instead of searching through multiple websites and confusing rules, users answer a few anonymous questions about their property and finances. The system then provides a personalized list of programs, including details on eligibility, how to apply, and how much money they might save.
