NFIB Vice President Jeff Brabant Joins “The Dave Elswick Show” in Little Rock, Discusses the Small Business Deduction

June 5, 2025

NFIB highlights the importance of the Small Business Deduction for Main Street businesses.

LITTLE ROCK (June 5, 2025) – Jeff Brabant, Vice President of Federal Government Relations at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business trade association, recently joined “The Dave Elswick Show” to discuss the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and how the Small Business Deduction will benefit small businesses in Arkansas and across the country.

“This bill is a great win for small business owners,” Brabant said, “If the One Big Beautiful Bill doesn’t pass, at the end of the year, we’re looking at $4.5 trillion in tax increases. One of the largest tax increases in history. And tax increases on about 33 million small business owners, if Congress doesn’t get this passed and they don’t do anything this year.”

Brabant continued, saying:

“The One Big Beautiful Bill does extend the Small Business Deduction and make it permanent. Not only does it do that, but it increases the size of the deduction from 20 percent to 23 percent. So Congress is very purposefully giving a boost to small businesses.”
