Rep. Murphy Meets with NFIB Members in Greenville

May 27, 2026

Topics including the rising cost of healthcare and the 20% small business deduction

FreshVibes owner Jessica Albea and U.S. Rep. Greg Murphy

U.S. Rep. Greg Murphy hosted a small business roundtable today at FreshVibes, an NFIB member business in Greenville.

The conversation focused on two issues important to Main Street businesses: the permanent 20% small business tax deduction that was included in the 2025 tax package, and the rising cost of healthcare for small business owners and their employees.

FreshVibes owner Jessica Albea also gave Rep. Murphy a tour of the juice bar.

NFIB State Director Gregg Thompson thanked him for engaging directly with members. “We appreciate Congressman Murphy taking the time to hear from small business owners in the 3rd District and across the state,” Thompson said. “These are the issues that keep our members up at night, and it matters when elected officials show up and listen.”
