Small Business Day at the State Capitol, February 20

Keynote speaker, Sen. Mark Mullet, will discuss small-business retirement options, state infrastructure investments, and legislating from the middle

As it does every year, NFIB will host its annual Small Business Day at the Capitol. One of the many benefits of membership, Small Business Days present an opportunity for members to meet with and talk directly to top policymakers.

This year’s Small Business Day at the Capitol will be held Tuesday, February 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s keynote speaker is Sen. Mark Mullet, who is the Senate’s lead capital budget writer. The capital budget makes infrastructure investments across Washington, funding affordable housing, school construction, health care facilities, environmental projects, and much more.

Mullet, from Issaquah, is owner of a Zeek’s Pizza and four Ben & Jerry’s ice cream franchises in the Issaquah and Sammamish area. He formerly chaired the Senate Business, Financial Services, Gaming & Trade Committee, and still serves on that panel.

We hope to see you there. Register now. Register here.
