Small Businesses to Legislature: Let’s Help All Nebraskans

Main Street is looking for Lincoln to build upon the transformational tax relief passed in the last session to help all Nebraskans.

LINCOLN (Jan. 3, 2023) – Ahead of the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature’s 2024 session, NFIB State Director Bob Hallstrom urged lawmakers to consider tax relief and worker compensation reform to improve the small business environment.

“Main Street is looking for Lincoln to build upon the transformational tax relief passed in the last session. With ballot initiatives circulating in the state that could threaten the pro-small business environment, it’s incumbent the Legislature works to ensure our job creators can grow their businesses, raise wages, and invest in our communities. When we help small businesses keep their doors open, we help all Nebraskans. NFIB will continue to work with legislators to make it easier to do business here in the Cornhusker State.”
