Tell Governor Hochul to Veto Workers’ Compensation Increases!

Bills that will undoubtedly lead to unaffordable increases in workers’ compensation costs for businesses are heading to Governor Hochul’s desk to become law, and we need your help to stop their enactment. The bills would expand qualifications for workers’ compensation benefits, which will lead to a surge in claims and consequently drive system costs even higher. Added costs will be especially felt by small businesses already combatting severe labor shortages, inflation, increasing surcharges and other taxes, and more. With a long road to economic recovery, New York State should not enact new or added costs, and instead should be pursuing solutions to provide much-needed financial relief for our state’s small businesses. Join NFIB in saying NO to added workers’ comp claims and costs: Take action by contacting Governor Hochul today!
