Small Business Welcomes Kemp's Latest Decision to Extend Suspension of GA Fuel Tax

NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins released the following statement today in response to Gov. Brian Kemp’s decision to extend the suspension of Georgia’s fuel tax and renew the state of emergency for supply chain disruptions through Jan. 10: “This is welcome news for Main Street businesses. Gas prices statewide have fallen by over $1.50 a gallon from the record $4.50 we were paying at the pump in June, but small businesses and their customers are still dealing with inflation that’s affecting the price of everything from raw materials to their monthly rent.”
