NFIB State Director Leah Long recently joined “Middays with Gerard Gibert” on SuperTalk Mississippi on June 23 to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses in Mississippi.
Long said small business optimism has remained relatively steady this year, but inflation continues to be a major concern for many owners. She said rising fuel prices and higher operating costs are creating uncertainty for Main Street businesses.
She also discussed the ongoing workforce shortage, noting that many small businesses continue to struggle to fill open positions.
