Early Voting in Florida Ends on Saturday, Nov. 5

There's a lot riding on the outcome of this year's General Election

Early Voting in Florida Ends on Saturday, Nov. 5

Early voting in Florida began in most counties on Oct. 29 and ends on Saturday, Nov. 5. The exceptions are Charlotte, Lee, and Sarasota counties, the counties hit hardest by Hurricane Ian. Governor DeSantis signed an executive order this month allowing early voting in those counties to begin as early as Oct. 24. Click here to learn more.

Dates to remember

  • Nov. 5: Early voting ends.
  • Nov. 8: Election Day and 7 p.m. deadline to return voted absentee ballot.

Florida law requires photo identification when voting, either in person or absentee. Polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To learn more about voting in this year’s election, visit the Florida Department of State’s website
