Washington, DC to Require Proof of Vaccination, Montgomery County Considering

Beginning January 15, 2022, guests ages 12 and older dining out at restaurants will be required to show proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. On February 15, those same guests must show proof of full vaccination.

Mayor Muriel Bowser’s order will also effect bars, entertainment venues, gyms, indoor recreational establishments, and meeting venues.

County Executive Mark Elrich said he would like to introduce a similar mandate in Montgomery County when the County Council returns from its current recess.
