State of Minnesota Offers Seminars on State Employment Taxes

Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership hosting in-person seminars on state employment taxes and other employer responsibilities

The Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership will be hosting several upcoming in-person seminars for employers on state employment taxes and other employer responsibilities.

These seminars will feature representatives from the Minnesota Department of Revenue, the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance Program, and the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association and will focus on information related to worker status, tax withholding basics, unemployment insurance, and workers’ compensation requirements.

These in-person seminars will be held throughout the calendar year 2025 in various locations throughout Minnesota. The Minnesota Business Tax Education Partnership will be hosting seminars in the following locations:

  • Stillwater – February 19, 2025
  • Cloud – March 26, 2025
  • Grand Rapids – April 25, 2025
  • Brainerd – June 5, 2025
  • Hastings – July 23, 2025
  • Chaska – September 10, 2025
  • Cloud – October 15, 2025
  • Stillwater – December 3, 2025
