Please Vote Your Wyoming Member State Ballot

Your NFIB Wyoming-member state ballot has been sent to you. If you haven’t already voted, please use it to express your opinion on four issues the Legislature will be grappling with in 2024.  Unique among business associations, NFIB annually polls its members on state and federal issues vital to their ability to own, operate, and grow their enterprises. Results from the member ballots center NFIB’s lobbying position in Cheyenne and in Washington, D.C. It’s because of this method, elected officials and other policymakers from coast to coast consider NFIB to be the true voice of small business.   The 2024 NFIB Wyoming-member ballot asked four questions:
  • Should Wyoming enact legislation allowing employees to sue their employers for alleged Labor Code violations?
  • Should Wyoming require employers to disclose salary ranges and benefits on job postings?
  • Should Wyoming require businesses to accept cash as a form of payment?
  • Should Wyoming impose new taxes, assessments, or fees on motorists, shipping, or commercial and residential energy consumption to pay for infrastructure necessary to accommodate electric vehicles?
The ballot contains background information and proponents’ and opponents’ comments on each of the issues. Please vote your ballot. The Wyoming Legislature returns for business on February 12, 2024, and adjourns in less than month for the rest of the year.  Keep up with the latest Wyoming small-business news at www.nfib.com/Wyoming or by following NFIB on Twitter @NFIB_WY.
