WATCH: Shopping Small Is a ‘Great Experience for You as the Shopper'

Ahead of Small Business Saturday, NFIB State Director Jerrod Shouse encouraged Oklahomans to support local businesses during the holiday season and all year round. “All in all, it’s a great experience for you as the shopper,” Shouse said in a conversation with Fox 25 News. “Shopping small really is great for our communities. Small businesses are owned by our friends and our neighbors, they live right here in our communities with us. They are the people who often support our schools and our little league teams and our local nonprofits and charities.” In an op-ed in The Journal Record, Shouse reminded readers that shopping small benefits the local economy. Shouse wrote: “When we shop small, we’re helping the family-run businesses that sponsor our kid’s sports teams, support our schools, and donate to charities. We’re supporting our neighbors who employ hardworking Oklahomans. And we’re reaffirming our commitment to our community.” CLICK HERE to watch the full interview with Fox 25 News.
