NFIB Connects Ohio Lawmakers with Small Business Owners

NFIB helped connect Ohio’s small business owners with their elected representatives and speak out on the issues affecting Main Street businesses. On Wednesday, Aug. 30, we hosted a small business roundtable with U.S. Rep. Mike Carey (District 15) at City Barbeque in Dublin. Congressman Carey talked about a host of federal issues including efforts to make the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. He also joined us in recognizing eInformatics as a 20-year member of NFIB. And we connected state Rep. Melanie Miller (District 67) with 30-year NFIB member Knowlton Machine in Ashland. She spoke at length with owners Dan and Tammy Frontz about small business issues pending in General Assembly. If you’re interested in attending or hosting an NFIB event, contact Grassroots Manager Anthony Lagunzad at anthony.lagunzad@NFIB.org.
