NFIB Welcomes Gov. Moore's Call for the General Assembly to Put an End to Automatic Gas Tax Increases

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ANNAPOLIS (June 29, 2023) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Maryland and the nation’s leading small business advocacy association, issued the following statement today by State Director Mike O’Halloran welcoming Gov. Wes. Moore’s call for the General Assembly to put an end to automatic gas tax increases: “Small business owners are happy to welcome Governor Wes Moore in their call for an end to automatic gas tax increases. Employers have felt the pain at the pump like all Marylanders in recent years. NFIB is excited to work with the Governor’s office and legislators to repeal this next session.”
