In a conversation with Wake Up Mid-Missouri, NFIB State Director Brad Jones discussed the findings of the latest Small Business Economic Trends (SBET) report while highlighting the importance of making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent.

Main Street is facing all sorts of economic uncertainty, which is exacerbated by the looming expiration of the 20% Small Business Deduction in 2025, warned Jones: “In 2017, we passed the tax cuts. The small businesses that benefitted from that most are your LLCs, your partnerships, your smallest of businesses. They benefitted from the 20% Small Business Deduction. That tax deduction goes away at the end of 2025. I think a lot of small business owners are wondering what’s going to happen, if we don’t get that deduction made permanent.” CLICK HERE to listen to the full conversation.
