NFIB Missouri Member Jared Cochran Shares His Story on the Small Business Rundown

NFIB Missouri Member Jared Cochran shares his experience adapting his small business to the ever-changing online marketplace.

In a recent episode of the Small Business RundownNFIB member Jared Cochran shared some of the best and most challenging parts of owning a small business, how he got started selling on Etsy, and the changes he’s noticed along the way.

“There are a million [challenges] right now, between market fluctuations and inflation and all that craziness,” Jared said. “One of the biggest problems we see currently is manpower and inflation.”

Jared and his family own Speed Fabrication, a metal fabrication company and The Fixx, a salon and spa in their Missouri community.

“In today’s changing world, as a small business owner you can’t get discouraged,” Jared concluded. “Just keep at it and keep in touch with your local representatives.”

The first Capitol building in Montgomery, Alabama was built in 1847, and was destroyed by fire in 1849. The current State Capitol was built on the previous Capitol's foundations, and was completed in 1851.
