Our members support the candidates who support small business

The NFIB Tennessee PAC today announced its endorsements for state legislative primary races. The political action committee, comprised exclusively of NFIB members, will announce its general race endorsements later this summer.

“The NFIB Tennessee PAC is endorsing primary candidates who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to protecting small businesses in Tennessee,” said State Director Jim Brown. “These individuals either have an outstanding record of supporting small businesses or have demonstrated they will promote a positive business environment for Tennessee’s job creators.”

Primaries will be held Thursday, Aug. 1. Early voting in the primaries begins July 12 and ends July 27. The general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The NFIB Tennessee PAC’s primary endorsements are important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
