About the Speakers:

Jon Kurrle
VP of Federal Government Relations, NFIB

As Vice President of Federal Government Relations, Jon Kurrle leads the NFIB federal lobbying team charged with bringing the collective voice of small business to Capitol Hill, the White House, and federal agencies.  Jon brings to his role over 25 years of experience in government and government affairs. Prior to joining NFIB, he served as Executive Vice President for Advocacy at the Plastics Industry Association. Earlier in his career, he was Government Relations Director at AMT: The Association for Manufacturing Technology, Government Relations Representative at Reed Smith LLP, and a Legislative Assistant on Capitol Hill. A native of Illinois who was raised in a small business family, he holds a degree in Government from the College of William and Mary.

 

Kevin Kuhlman 
Senior Director of Federal Government Relations, NFIB

Kevin Kuhlman serves as the Senior Director of Federal Government Relations at NFIB and is responsible for lobbying and advocating Congress and the Administration. Kevin closely followed consideration of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for NFIB and continues to monitor implementation from the Treasury Department and IRS. Before joining NFIB in 2011, Kevin worked for his hometown Congressman and the Committee on Ways and Means on Capitol Hill.
